“I just bought this model and the option for Smart Picture Mode is greyed out. Any idea why? I have DIRECTV which runs to my Xbox one and then to the tv by way of HDMI.”

Not sure unless it's because you're running thru the Xbox. I started out that way and experienced some issues and just changed some connections and all is well.

Please try again later.TRY CONNECTING DIRECT TV, TO YOUR TV, U SHOULD GET A BETTER, PICTURES, I HAD CABLE, BLUE RAY PLAYER, CONNECTED TO YAMAHA 4K SMART AMPLIFIER, HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, NOW I USE HDMI ALL SEPARATE TO MY TV AND BYPASS AMPLIFIER, BUT USE FIBER OPTIC OUT FOR AUDIO OUT FROM TV , TOO YAMAHA AMPLIFIER, VERY HAPPY.
