QuestionCan this set come w/black,rather than silver surrounding picture tube?

- Answer No it comes in only silver which is the reason I have not purchased it. You would think the people responsible for making it silver would know better as this has been tried in the past and was one of the largest complaints from consumers. Light bouncing off the silver bezel from room lights are a distraction. Samsung has the same silver bezel.

QuestionDo each of the three HDMI inputs support 4K or 4K up-conversion? I know some manufacturers put 3 to 5 HDMI inputs, but only one is truly capable of full 4K (or even 4K at 60Hz.) Thanks in advance!

- Answer I have this TV. All 3 HDMI inputs support HDCP 2.2 and 4K. To get the Ultra HD Deep Color, you need to enable it in the settings for any of the 3 HDMI inputs individually or all three. Only 1 HDMI port supports ARC.

- Answer I think the sound quality is great. I have a sound bar, but the quality of the sound is so good without it, I haven't even bothered to hook it up.

- Answer Not sure unless it's because you're running thru the Xbox. I started out that way and experienced some issues and just changed some connections and all is well.

- Answer Definitely it upscales and it really is amazing difference. I recommend go to a Best Buy store and ask them to demo a HD video and see for yourself how good the picture quality is. Though the upscale is even better on 8 series if you want to shell out $300 more.

- Answer You can use the remote as a cursor to with the web os in the system. It doesn't do so many more things than a regular remote, but overall its a good remote. If you like the thought of using it like a computer mouse then you will like the remote.

- Answer You can connect with your sound bars with optic cable or via a HDMI cable. The Optic cable was a straight forward setting, a feature enabled via the OS itself to select the sound through the internal & external speakers combined via the optic or HDMI, although I must say with HDMI, you will have to some spend some time to pick the correct settings both on TV and Sound bar or any other external entertainment system.
