You can connect with your sound bars with optic cable or via a HDMI cable. The Optic cable was a straight forward setting, a feature enabled via the OS itself to select the sound through the internal & external speakers combined via the optic or HDMI, although I must say with HDMI, you will have to some spend some time to pick the correct settings both on TV and Sound bar or any other external entertainment system.
