I don't know much about the Bose system but if it's like my LG sound bar, then it should have an optical cord which plugs into the back of the tv from the sound bar. Then go onto the tv remote and push the button with the gear on it. That's the settings. It shows up on the right side of the screen then use the down button to select the sound. Push ok. the use the right or left arrow buttons to select the optical out selection. Doing this will turn off the tv speakers.
