The Verizon router work well for me at 4k.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Router? This is a TV not a PC. Any but the most ancient of routers will work fine. More important will be your cable modem or DSL modem. Yes, you do need HIGH! speed internet if you plan to stream 4k from Youtube/Netflix/Amazon/whatever. Do yourself a favor and buy separate Cable modem from your router.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it will matter. I'm using a NETGEAR DOCSIS 3.0 router designed to exploit TWC's 100Mbps downloads. This TV is capable of displaying programs at 4k. You WILL DEFINITELY want to be able to stream these programs because they are beautiful to see on this TV. And, 30+ Mbps streaming is going to be important. Yeah, I know others will claim lower speeds will do, but you'll quickly see that is rarely useful.
