I agree. We, also, paid $199 for installation, am a Best Buy Rewards member and there was no mount involved. I was sure salesman mentioned a lesser amount without a mount, but was then told $199 was fee, with or without mount. Would not pay this again.

Installation fees—including any discounts for Best Buy Rewards members—are set by Best Buy and can vary by region, promotional period, and whether you purchase a mounting bracket through them. We recommend contacting your local Best Buy store or visiting their installation services page to confirm if any Rewards-member discounts apply, as well as whether the quoted $199 fee includes both labor and the mount itself. As a troubleshooting tip for preparing your space—if you choose to install the TV yourself or to confirm with Best Buy what’s included—first verify that your wall can support a 65″ (approximately 57 lb without stand) television. Make sure you have a VESA-compatible wall mount (300 × 200 mm) rated for at least 65 inches and able to hold your TV’s weight. Use a stud finder to locate at least two studs spaced properly for secure anchoring, and employ a level when marking your drill holes to ensure your TV hangs perfectly straight. If the installer’s fee does not include a mount, knowing these details ahead of time will help you budget for a quality bracket that meets LG’s specifications. For specific Best Buy promotions or to verify whether there’s a Rewards-member discount on installation, please reach out directly to your local Best Buy store or their online customer service. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-65-class-85-series-qned-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2024/6578184.p?skuId=6578184 If you have any further questions about wall-mount compatibility, installation best practices, or need additional guidance on setting up your 65QNED85TUA—whether you go through Best Buy or install yourself—please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and we’ll be more than happy to explore possible solutions. We appreciate your patience and look forward to ensuring you enjoy your new LG TV. —Renzo
