• Move the little ball on the remote to activate the magic controller..that should do it

• You cannot pause a program you are watching on the LG 65" Class 85 Series QNED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024), Model # 65QNED85TUA. It does not have that capability...^Ivan.
