I handed my cable company their cable box back to them. I just use streaming. The only thing I miss is that the cable box has a DVR feature which the cable streaming service does not. You won't miss the movies, they are available on Firestick, Apple, Roku, but the local channels and news is a problem. You'll have to watch commercials or buy a virtual DVR service for the channels you want, but that starts adding to the price you want to keep low. Switch to Youtube for news. Cable / channel news is no longer "news" anyway, its all propaganda.
