yes it is. Personally I have the Playbar with mine from sonos and it’s amazing.

You will also need to take the distance that you will be sitting from the LG C9 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65C9PUA.As you are aware from your own experiences, the perception of loudness diminishes with increasing distance. The TV does feature a 2.2 Channel 40W (20W Woofer) Speaker System so it should be adequate in an averagely sized room. Other factors that need to be taken into consideration are well furnished the room is or if they are heavy drapes that may absorb the sound or if the room is carpeted or has bare floors that will reflect the sound....^IFV
