QuestionJust bought the 65 cx oled LG tv. I had the previous oled for 2 1/2 years and got a burnt screen. What is the best way to avoid this again?

Questionanyone have same problem can’t seem to see good enough in daytime with SDR content, just doesn’t get bright enough to see games, unless you turn game brightness up and then it looks bad, setting ps4 to full with low black level helps but crush’s blacks

- Answer Having the same problem. My B9 looked amazing and bright and this looks dim and unusable in daylight. I regret not going QLED or the higher brightness G1 that is releasing this year. In all honesty even in darkness I feel it's not as bright as b9

QuestionCan I mount my 65" LG OLED TV over a gas fireplace wall? I don't use fireplace very often. What if I use it while the TV is on? Risks/suggestions? Picture shows the fireplace wall; TV is going to cover most of the wall area.

- Answer Yes this TV can be mounted above the fireplace I recently purchased the TV and placed it above my natural fireplace which I never use at some point the fireplace will be turned into a gas fireplace. The only thing you need to concern yourself with if you’re hanging out yourself make sure you found good studs in the wall and that the wall doesn’t get too hot when using the fireplace if the wall heats up behind the TV the amount should keep the TV far enough away but I would still be cautious about using the TV and fireplace at the same time

QuestionHello I purchased this tv and am very happy with the picture quality but I cannot get it to look good when watching sports. I also do not have a sports mode on my tv. Are there any recommended settings ? It looks grainy when watching sports

- Answer This site will walk you through the steps of calibrating your tv. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/cx-oled It's really detailed in the setup process. It may take 15-20 minutes of your time. If your tv still looks "grainy" after this it may just be because of the source resolution. Try watching sports in 4k if you have the option and see if it has issues there also.

QuestionCan you turn off the “soap opera effect” with this TV?

- Answer Sure, just turn off any software enabled motion such as TruMotion. The soap opera effect is from having too many frames, as alot of us are used to the 24fps that is common at the movies.

- Answer The codes are included in the direct tv setup process. Mine had no issue pairing so you may be doing it wrong.

- Answer Check see that your cable provider is sending a strong enough signal to your device. The upscaling that has to occur with a slower speed modem can cause a little bit of visual vibration.

- Answer As long as the Bose sound bar has the ability to connect via Optical or HDMI, yes. I would suggest since you’re spending top dollar on the best TV available, to make sure to use a sound bar or system that connects via HDMI and utilizes the TVs eARC function.

QuestionHow do I configure the TV to automatically connect to a bluetooth amplifier every time I turn on the TV? My experience is that I have to manually select the amplifier in the Sound Out settings. I turned on Auto Detect which doesn't work.

QuestionHas anyone noticed the 65" CX OLED having pixelating issues from time to time? I have had this TX for approximately 4 months and the images in the center area of the TV will pixelate usually at least once during a viewing.
