• Not an easy question to answer. The BEST way to place a recessed outlet would be to first possess the TV mount (which comes with this particular LG OLED TV). They provide a paper template. The mount itself is actually an accordion-style mount that can move the TV directly against the wall, or out a ways to compensate for such things as power cords/signal feeds.

• The best location would be offset to the middle left of the tv. The mount for this tv is close to the top and the back left has a depression for the wire routing. I did mine on the right and which I did it on the left
