“Can Dolby Atmos be passed through via the hdmi arc connection? For example, can I have my Apple TV 4K connected to hdmi 1 and then receive Dolby Atmos to my sound system via the hdmi 2 arc connection?”

Yes and the response was quick switching to atmos and dolby vision. The Picture quality is top notch and webos is the best os for smart tv right now

Many times a Dolby Atmos disc is encoded in such a way that if the audio processor isn’t capable of Atmos, it will decode Dolby TrueHD. We hope this information helps.
