“I just purchased this OLED a couple days ago and used settings from RTINGS.COM. I've been watching GOT on HBO through Spectrum cable. I've noticed that in dark scenes there is a noticeable black crush. Does anyone know how to fix this?”

My tv is an LG OLED B6 (2016 model) and I use DIRECTV. I have the same problem when watching some tv shows. Although some shows like ABC & NBC news comes in crystal clear. Also when I check the picture test in settings the picture is perfect. when I asked the top technician at Best Buy about it he told me it was the transmission from Direct tv and as far as I know there isn’t any way to clear it up. It looks like a pixelation in the dark areas. Stick with Sony or Samsung.
