A:AnswerIt’s a consideration. They said the same thing about plasma TVs and we had a Panasonic for 12 years with no problems.
If you want to burn it in, you probably could but I don’t think it’s an issue with everyday use. And I suspect there is new technology in the set to avoid burn in.
The screensaver feature comes up in a minute or two automatically if it detects a paused or frozen picture.
A:AnswerThe widest point (middle part) of the base is about 21.5" It is a unique design though. The front of the base is about 16.25" and the rear is about 6". Pics attached.
