That means it has 3840 pixels horizontally and 2160 pixels vertically so to find the total number of pixels you need to multiply 840 x 2160which gives you a total of 8,294,400‬ which is about 4 times the number of pixels on a 1080 TV (2,457,600 pixels) hence the name "4K"...^IFV
