This TV and all other 2020 LG OLED TVs except for the LG BX 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® series OLEDs employs LG's α9 Gen 3 AI Processor 8K with AI Picture Pro & AI Sound Pro...^IFV

QuestionHow long is the cable between the display and the A/V box?

- Answer The cable length is about 18.5 inch long which is not long enough for a lot of setups. Mine is hanging outside the wall and I really would like to hide it behind the wall. Keep in mind the 2020 model does not come with the ribbon cable extender. You will have to purchase it separately.

QuestionIt stated you would have to purchase the ribbon cable extension separately for this model. For in-wall installation, is the cable now up to code or would we still require a professional to install properly? Where can we purchase the extension?

- Answer Depends on your skill for the in-wall routing of the cable which would require dry wall intrusion/repair. Finding an extension ribbon cable, that's a challenge. I've been trying to find one for a few months. I tried LG's customer support and received a generic list of retailers who carry their products. No luck. That said, I can't say enough about the TV ... absolutely gorgeous, no regrets. That said, the installation is a bit challenging and definitely requires two persons. If you have any luck in finding an extension ribbon cable, please post a response here. I'm unsure if it is a standardized ribbon cable connector or not (I've not checked). Good luck.
