“Does it play blu ray right out of the box or will I need to download a program for that? Someone here said it is a trial version and I would have to eventually download a program to make it play blu ray. If so, where do I go to get it?”

• It comes with Power DVD 22. Once this software is installed it will play blu ray discs. Also unlike the DVD burner LG makes the Power DVD software is not a trial version. I know this is a question many people have.

• Hi, Yes, it plays Blu rays right out of the box, and I haven't been asked for a 'Trial' basis at all. Hope this helps
