How far away can you place the surround speakers? null

The closer the main unit and the subwoofer/speakers the better sound quality. It is recommended to install the main unit and the subwoofer/speaker as close as possible. Keep the sound bar and the subwoofer away from the device (ex. wireless router, microwave oven, etc.) over 1 m (3.3 feet) to prevent wireless interference. ^Daphane

They are connected by Bluetooth but they have a 6’ power cord that must be plugged in to a wall socket. Mine are 5’ off the ground and 15’ apart. All you need is an electrical extension cord to cover the extra distance to the wall plug.

I have put the boxes 30ft from each other, and it works perfectly.
