A:AnswerGuys as some of you—the ones who have EMF meters—have noted, it matters not if you are connected; if you have downloaded the app and then disconnected the appliance as LG suggests—THE APPLIANCE CONSTANTLY EMITS EMF any time it’s on. We reached out on FB and via the app (which is ridiculous-it wants your precise location every 5 seconds and has a horrible UX-UI) and we are not getting answers. Even went on Yelp and tried to get a service person to come and disconnect it. No authorized service person would come by and help. It appears the there are two options: Turn it on and run or take the appliance apart and try to figure out where the module is. Going to try that next and will report back.
A:AnswerI have the same problem. It doesn't even matter if it is a few things, the dryer sensor does not work right, and I specifically asked about that before purchasing. When you do the timed dry I cant take it off of high heat. It is really really annoying.
A:AnswerNO. Report that or any questionable operation without delay. Make sure you have the contact name and a report number from LG; or any other manufacturer. Once your warrantee is up it is usually on you.
A:AnswerAbout 51 inches w the door opened in the side swing position and about 40 inches if the door is opened in the downswing option. This still leaves plenty of space to load your clothes. (This model has the ability to open the door two different ways all the time. It can open w a side swing from the left or right side and you tell them which side swing you’d like AND it can open straight down. Using the down position can only go about 25 degrees, not the full 45 degrees, but plenty of room to load).
A:AnswerYes. Ask the installer to change it during installation visit. Also instructions in manual to change hinge direction if you are installing yourself.
A:AnswerIt does not come with the power cord. You will have to purchase it. If you are having the dryer delivered and installed, you are required to purchase the chord through Best Buy in order to keep the manufacturers warranty. This was explained to me when I purchased my dryer about 4 weeks ago.

A:AnswerAs long as there are no kinks or blockages of the dryer tube at any point, that's the kind of vent tube route that happens all the time. Also, be sure to cover the outside end of the tube with a store-bought plastic grate to block birds from building nests inside the tubing. There are stationary and flappable varieties available. You could also use a wire mesh that allows the hot air to escape unimpeded.
