A:AnswerThis unit is not a smart dryer, it works well and is very basic, the Smart Diagnosis feature may be what is causing some confusion, its a system LG has with their app to assist you with troubleshooting
A:AnswerHi there, thank you for your question about the LG Dryer Model DLE6100W. If your dryer is turning off early even when set to Manual Dry, it’s possible the Sensor Dry feature is still influencing the cycle. Here’s how you can adjust settings for a true manual drying cycle:
Select Manual Dry: Turn the cycle dial to select a manual drying option, such as Timed Dry.
Turn Off Energy Saver: If the Energy Saver feature is enabled, it can cause the dryer to turn off prematurely to save energy. You can disable this by pressing the Energy Saver button until the indicator light turns off.
Adjust the Drying Time: Set your desired drying time manually using the More Time/Less Time buttons.
If the problem persists, it might be related to the sensors or settings, and a technician may need to inspect the dryer. Please contact us via social media @LGUSSupport for further assistance.

A:AnswerThe LG customer support says this unit has NO ability to turn off the chime, as there is no "Signal" button on it. I really wish this were clearer before purchase. I have NEVER before seen a washer or dryer where that was not available as an option.
