  • Questionmy door opening is 26.5inches wide the washer is 27inches wide,it does not fit what happens next

    Asked by ilias.

    • Answer As you have noted, the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE6100W has a width of 27" so if your door opening is 26.5", you still have 1/4" (0.25") on either side of the dryer to fit it through your opening although it will be a tight fit. IF it cannot fit through your door opening, you can try removing any protruding features like casing, pipe, and door to make space available or consult a general contractor for advice on how to create more space in your house...^Ivan.

  • QuestionHow do I turn off sensor dry? Even when selecting manual dry for 40 minutes the dryer is still turning off after only 14 minutes

    Asked by Olivia.

    • Answer Hi there, thank you for your question about the LG Dryer Model DLE6100W. If your dryer is turning off early even when set to Manual Dry, it’s possible the Sensor Dry feature is still influencing the cycle. Here’s how you can adjust settings for a true manual drying cycle: Select Manual Dry: Turn the cycle dial to select a manual drying option, such as Timed Dry. Turn Off Energy Saver: If the Energy Saver feature is enabled, it can cause the dryer to turn off prematurely to save energy. You can disable this by pressing the Energy Saver button until the indicator light turns off. Adjust the Drying Time: Set your desired drying time manually using the More Time/Less Time buttons. If the problem persists, it might be related to the sensors or settings, and a technician may need to inspect the dryer. • QuestionCan you turn off the end-of-cycle buzzer, Or adjust the volume?

    Asked by Dryerbuyer.

    • Answer The LG customer support says this unit has NO ability to turn off the chime, as there is no "Signal" button on it. I really wish this were clearer before purchase. I have NEVER before seen a washer or dryer where that was not available as an option.
