“Does the steam hose need to be hooked up for the washer to be functional? or can it function with out it? my washer and dryer are on opposite walls so the hose hook up may not be able to reach from one to the other.”

• Yes, you need to connect a water hose for the steam feature to function. You can use the unit without the steam function if you choose.
