“Just got this washer and dryer set 2 days ago. Washer has a high pitch sound that is awful and dryer is the loudest dryer I’ve ever heard, sounds like a jet in the laundry room. This can’t be right, I’m thinking it has to be a defective pair.”

Yes, something is wrong. My dryer is super quiet and I have not experienced any high pitch sound. This is my second LG dryer of this model. I owned my previous version for 3 years and never had any issues.
