I am not using the remote feature of this machine. I am using them in the traditional old fashioned way very successfully. This was not a selling point for me as I’m not very good at working these new technologies.

Both washer and dryer use same app and provide maintenance updates and recommendations. Apps also indicate when a load is complete, and have ability to remote start. If you want to customize a wash or dry cycle (heavy, temp, and time, etc), you'll need app.
