Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This dryer can use either a 3-prong or 4-prong power cord. This dryer has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. All grounding must conform to all applicable local codes and regulations or in their absence, to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70. A 3-wire connection cannot be used where local codes do not permit grounding through the neutral wire and a 4-wire connection is required for all new construction after January 1, 1996. If you are not sure which connection to use in your building or home, you can check with your local building inspector or the local codes and regulations in your area. ^CP
