Duct is not 24 feet long. Wash room is near the front of the house and vents to outside wall with les than 10 feet of duct.

The vent tube is approximately the same length and is constructed of solid smooth wall tube with two 45 degree bends. Avoid flexible tube. I do have to clean the tube 2 or 3 times a year. I am not having any problems with the flow sensor tripping. A booster fan could be installed to help move the air if your clothes are not drying fast enough or if the flow sensor is tripping.
