We have the same set up. The new dryer has its own outlet. During the installation of the new washer & sidekick, the installation guys had me run to the hardware store to buy a grounded plug-in with three 3-prong outlets. I was a little nervous but they assured me it would be fine. So the washer & sidekick share that outlet. Installation was at the beginning of October and so far both the washer and sidekick have worked great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We also purchased the washer, dryer, and sidekick. The installers (who were great by the way) had me go to the hardware store to pick up a grounded plug-in with three 3-prong inserts, but I don't know if it is a 15A converter. So the washer and sidekick both plug into the same outlet & the dryer still has its dedicated outlet. This was done about two months ago and everything works great.
