Attach your iPhone as a Bluetooth device via the instructions in the manual on page 22 of the big manual. You have to pair your iPhone to the unit, and then select it from the main selector, and then play via your favorite music player. You should hear playback through your speakers (and your phone calls too... btw). You have to stay near the unit (33 feet or less) to stay in contact with it. I have found that I have to re-pair the phone to the unit every now and then. I don't know why yet, but I will find out sooner or later. If you have an LG smart TV, you can use the LG SoundLink capability the same way you use Bluetooth. See page 33 in the big manual for the howto. If you have another make, or your LG tv doesn't support SoundLink, then you can use the audio output for headsets or the RCA output on your TV if you have either and run a cable to the AUX INPUT on the back of your unit, or to the front of your unit via the PORTABLE INPUT. See page 17 in the big manual for that info. Always download the latest manuals and information from here: http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-CM4550#manuals and consult before you attempt to use the features above. As to the cassette issues, a simple stereo cable from any tape player (walkman, console player, etc.) will playback when connected to the PORTABLE INPUT or the AUX INPUT connectors. You just need the cable and the player. Cheap walkman style player with an AC adaptor and you are good to go. Hope this all helped. God Bless You.
