QuestionI have an LG Dolby Atmos sound bar and the spk8 rear speaker set, I do have a 18 month old LG TV but it doesn't have Dolby Atmos, which is the right TV I would need to get the most from my set-up.cheers

- Answer Any of the newer LG models. But I prefer the Vizio P or PX series. More cost efficient and plays nicely with all competing technologies.

QuestionCan you buy 2 sets of the speakers so that there are 4 of them connected to the sound bar instead of just the two? Would the soundbar be able to wirelessly connect to all 4 if we did that?

- Answer Rear speaker connects to sound bar using Bluetooth. Sound bar itself can connect to TV using Bluetooth, or wired while TV is on your home network (WIFI or wired Ethernet)

- Answer If you still have the original box or manual it will provide the compatible speaker model available . According to the manual the SPK8-S work with SK10Y,SK9Y,SK8Y,SK6Y andSK5Y.

QuestionI bought the LG SK9Y 5.1.2-Channel High-Res 500W Audio Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and added a pair of wireless LG rear speakers to it. I only get sound out of the rear speakers in Base Blast mode. is this normal.

- Answer I do not have this issue with the 3.1.2 sound bar that I have paired with rear speakers. I would definitely contact LG Electronics in this regard.

- Answer You do not have to upgrade your TV however if your TV doesn’t support Dolby Atmos then you will not experience Dolby Atmos sound from your speakers either

- Answer I do no think it is compatible since this is only for 2018 and later LG sound bar. According to LG site, it is compatible with SL10Y, SL9Y, SL8Y, SL7Y, SL6Y, SL5Y, SL4Y, SKM5Y sound bar.
