Yes, but it will only adjust to the quality of the signal you are receiving. It does upscale a lower quality signal to near 4k but if you have the bandwidth(signal strength) it will really make the picture sharp. I have DISH and most video is in the lower HD range but movies are usually better, especially the newer ones. Most over the air signals are really good too-better than the standard Satellite signal.
