“I know is normal for it to leak water but how or where can I put a tube so the leakage is controlled?”

A. The LG - 800 Sq. Ft. 14,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner should be 1/2 inch lower in the back from the front. The unit is designed to operate with at least 1/2 inch of water in the base pan. You can place a small piece of tubing to the back for controlled drainage from the unit. We have included a video for reference that may give a bit more insight https://tinyurl.com/bdfuf46e.
