Please try again later.Everyone says it's VA and I just called 1-800 Best Buy and they said they get all their info from LG and it list under features 4K IPS Display The 4K IPS Display widens your viewing angle without losing color and detail. So now I am confused as to what it is.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 82” doses indeed have a VA panel. This monitor to me looks very similar to a projected image. It’s off angle viewing Is not good but on axis it does seem to have better contrast than ips (without dimming. ) The price to size ratio seems quite reasonable. Display technology is a moving target and this seems to fulfill my needs for the time being.
