This LG 82" 4K UHD TV has far exceeded my expectations. I was initially going to get the 75" but it sold out, glad it did because that meant I had to get the 82". After having the 82", I can't even imagine only having the 75". If you like movies, sports and gaming, do yourself a favor and just upgrade to an 82". I've had bad luck with Samsung devices the last few years, so decided to switch to LG. So far I love the functionality of the LG more than Samsung. The Smart interface is great and the remote is best standard remote I've ever owned, Google and Alexa function makes it even better. 120hz refresh rate makes a big difference too. My only complaint is that I didn't realize there's no HBO Max App available yet but I can still stream it from my phone thru a Chromecast, kind of a pain but not a deal breaker. This is by far the best XL TV you can get for the money. Don't let the bad reviews because of delivery issues steer you away from this one. All reviews really should be based on the TV, not delivery problems.

This LG 82 in TV is the best value for the size when I got it on sale at Best Buy. This is my third LG in 15 years, having also had a 37 inch and a 65 inch LG, which all still work perfectly. I've never had a problem with LG. This 82" is the only one in this family line that is not a standard IPS panel, so clarity and colors are a bit richer than what you get with it's sibling models. The image performance is perfect from the native 120 hertz refresh rate and makes for super smooth visuals in high motion sports and video games. No pixilation observed so far. Since I have a full home theater system and use a Roku Ultra for streaming content, I can't really attest to the onboard apps or the speaker performance. For me, this TV is all about size and a beautiful visual quality for the money. I did months of research before buying this TV. If you can find the 82" version, it's the best LG UHD 4k TV for the money.

Great TV for the price I paid. I was looking for a 75" with HDMI 2.1 and "TRUE" 120hz. I stumbled upon this model and paid less for it (82") than the 75" that didn't have the features I was looking for.

I have purchased many TVs of many different brands. This TV hits the mark for refresh rate, size and price value. But most importantly what I am impressed by is when it goes into a rest mode it stays on and there are beautiful photographs they take up a huge space on the wall. Also a special shout out to the delivery people and their willingness to go the extra mile. I have chosen the basic installation where they come in put the TV where I want it and that’s it. Do you do a few cancellations on the schedule they were able to immediately upgrade me to a wall mount provide the wall mount add an additional cost. And you can now see from the pics the great job they did

I got this as an open box special, so I thought it would have some issues with it. Nope. It's a fantastic TV. An 82" 4K TV with native 120 Hz for this price is unbelievable. Picture quality is great, user interface is easy enough, it's very easy to set up picture settings for different inputs and purposes. Great TV. You won't find a better TV cheaper than this.

The tv really does speak for it’s self and if you have any other lg stuff it just links right in. Also has no issue with my Sony 7.2 receiver For the price it’s a good deal if you where able to catch it during the deals in November. It’s really worth it no way to pass up I was going to get 86 kinda glad I went with the 82 as I wouldn’t of had the room for the 86.

LG -82 UN8500 is a huge Tv and I can't get over it. Comparing to my Sony BRAVIA X690E I still believe Sony has a better display. For the rest of the feature the LG hand down the better tv. The Magic remote remind me of the Wii in a good way. LG free CH is a big plus too. Overall super happy with my purchase and it's upper compatible with my Xbox Series X.

Incredible picture quality! Did not realize 4K would be this nice with AT&T U-verse. Love the webOS smart TV functions. The remote takes some getting used to, but easy once you get the hang of it, it is much easier to navigate around than using the arrow buttons. Would recommend this TV to others if you have the room for it. Definitely need 11 to 12 feet viewing distance. Makes us feel like we are at the movies :)

Great television. We love it. True 120 Hz and 4K. Added Surround Sound and its like being in a theater. You won’t find a better 82” tv for this price of $1,450.00.

This tv is amazing. I’m a gamer and tv specs are important for me and this tv delivers. I have the ps5 and the image quality is spectacular. Watching a movie is like being in the theaters. I highly recommend especially for the price.

I’m loving my 82” LG. I upgraded from a Samsung 32”. This is actually my first tv of this size, and it’s like being at the movie theater every time my family and I watch a movie. I recommend to any and everyone.
