Q: QuestionI'm moving up to this set from the LG 65SJ8500 65 inch that has been a great TV with a lot of things this one has, I'm hoping that I won't be disappointed with the color and the clarity of the picture from my old LG TV, Has anyone done this.

• A:Answer Colors and clarity are excellent, as are the wide viewing angles with this IPS panel. The problem is that it can’t block out light well and doesn’t manage borders between light and dark well due to a limited number of local dimming zones.

• A:Answer It is unlikely that other than professional reviewers, you will find an actual consumer who owns the similar size TVs from Samsung and LG. The went through the same thought process. I had a 55" Samsung which, one fine morning, decided to quit altogether. It was about 7 yrs old and HDMI ports had stopped functioning one at a time without reason or warning. When the display died, only 2 of the 5 ports were working. I did my research and read professional reviews. The two technologies are similar in quality and the TVs are priced fairly close (LG was a bit cheaper when I bought). For me, the decision came to audio quality and the user interface. My understanding of the reviews was LG was better on audio and user interface side. In my experience with older Samsung, the LG audio is better. However, on the user interface side, Web OS is a disaster. It is pretty much impossible to figure things out and it does not come with a printed user guide that you can browse through in one shot to get an overall idea of capabilities.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the nano 9 and the nano 90 sets? Are these even two separate series? One question you answered you stated that the Web OS is a disaster while on another question you stated that it is the greatest. I am so confused.

The "NANO 9 Series" refers to the SM9000, SM9070, SM9500, or SM9970 series TVs while the NanoCell 90 series is specifically referring to the SM9070 or SM9000 TVs. Our webOS TV Platform is a is a Linux kernel-based multitasking operating system for our smart TVs. Opinions on the webOS platform will vary and some people love the platform while others don't like it so some people will comment how great it is while some may comment saying it is a disaster. Reviews have always rated our webOS TV Platform as being one of the most intuitive and best operating systems for a TV...^IFV
