“I cannot get the TV to send sound back to my AVR through the ARC input. Everything else works great that I have running directly to my AVR. Please help me!”

ARC is HDMI 3. Make the connection and then go to sound settings and select sound output to HDMI ARC.

Amazingly, the HDMI inputs on this LG TV (model number 86UN8570PUC) are mislabeled. If you are having trouble trying to use the ARC function through HDMI 2 (which is labeled ARC), switch it to HDMI 3. I just did it and it works perfectly. Thank you to the person who suggested this to me!
