• Hello, to answer your question where does the drive get it’s power from. It gets the power from you computer, though the same USB cable the data is transmitted, simultaneously powering the drive, and showing you the image, all with the one UBS cable.

• This drive gets power from the USB ports on your laptop. Some planes have a single 120 volt power outlet under the seat, in case your laptop needs a recharge.
