Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree with 50gb blu-ray discs being not the most reliable. I've personally found that if you burn at the slowest possible speed you should have no problem using quality discs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dual layer discs are not reliable yet. Even though the device *is* supposed to support the dual layer 50s, I do not recommend them. This is true for all drives, incidentally. It is a technology issue not a problem with this brand. There is a firmware update that is supposed to improve BD disc compatibility, but I'm fine with sticking to the 25 GB discs and haven't done an update yet.
