“Can I use this to download/burn bluray and any other dvds onto my laptop, even if they are not a digital copy?”

• I have been using this to burn dvd copies of my old vhs home movies. I am not sure how you would download a non digital copy without another program. I am using Roxio VHS to DVD program to get the vhs movies onto my computer and then I burn a copy to DVD using my blueray LG disc.

• Yes this will burn/write, but you need to purchase a 3rd party program to do so.

• You can backup and burn disks with this device. If the file is on your computer it is a digital copy. It might not be a certified digital copy (Pirated) which will depend on the software being used to determine if it will or won't burn certain content.
