Hello there! Thank you for your question regarding the BP50NB40. This external Blu-ray drive is compatible with both Mac and Windows systems. However, to play Blu-rays on a Mac, additional third-party software may be required, as macOS doesn't have native support for Blu-ray playback. DVDs, on the other hand, can be played without any additional software.
