Hi there, thank you for your question about the BP50NB40 external DVD drive. Yes, this model is compatible with your HP All-In-One desktop running Windows 11. It will allow you to create a Windows "Recovery Disk," store documents on writable CDs or DVDs, and play older CDs and DVDs without any issues. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I believe so. Making a recovery disc is just transferring the data and writing it to a writable/rewritable disc. You jist need the proper software, the drive works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It appears to provide for treatment as an external drive using disks, so anything can be copied to a disc, such as documents. Also will play CD/DVD's when plugged in to the computer.
