“As I now own the product I'm struggling to figure out which region codes can be played on this Blu-ray drive? Is the drive region free?”

• I found it set to Region 1 and had to load VLC Player to get it to work some of the time. e.g. CBS' Picard BluRay, discs 1&2 play, disc 3 "not licensed," yet plays on other home players.

• Region codes are dependent on the software used. Please check the software you plan to use this drive with regarding playing discs from multiple regions. ^Daphane
