“Will it play my movies, both on DVD and BlueRay format? I don't want to copy, burn, or record anything, I just want it to play the movies I buy. Will it do it as in "plug and play" (Win 10), or do I need additional software?”

• It comes with software that would need to be installed to play Blu-ray movies, without the software it can play dvds.

• It plays CDs and DVDs. I loaded the supplied software, but still cannot get it to recognize or play BluRay discs. Using Windows 11. I tried it in both the 2.0 USB slots and 3.0 USB slots on my brand new Republic of Gaming ASUS computer.
