“Will any software be needed to access BD rom files found on a movie blu ray? I’m using a MacBook Pro and realize you need third party software to watch movies on blu ray but was wondering if it would still be needed just to access the BD ROM files”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No software is required to access the files themselves; only if you want to then burn the files and convert them. I have a Blu-ray drive and copying isn't a problem at all. My computer is a 2010 Mac Pro and my previous machine was a Late 2014 Mac mini.
