- Answer To remove a disc if button does not work, I believe if you unplug the writer usb cable and with a paper clip push it in the hole to the right of the eject button and disc tray should open.

- Answer The connector that plugs into the optical drive is micro, but the end that plugs into the computer is standard USB

- Answer Don't think so. It dose not say it plays blu ray so I'm pretty sure it wont. Most Blu ray players are much more expensive.

- Answer I didn’t need to install anything in my MacBook Pro to use it. You will need an application according to what do you want to do with it. I use iTunes to import some music and was able to access the disk using Finder too.
