The LG CineBeam LED Projector with Built-In Battery, Bluetooth Sound Out and Screen Share, Model # PH550 can be mounted on a camera tripod from underneath the projector and even though the manual does not have any instruction for mounting it on a ceiling if you can find the right ceiling mount, you might be able to mount it on the ceiling and use the PJT mode that is a function that turns the projected image upside down or flips it horizontally. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can definitely sit on a shelf with no problem. As far as ceiling mount, it doesn't come with the projector BUT I’m sure you could purchase a ceiling mount and it would work just fine.
