• Thank you for your interest in the LG Refrigerator. Yes, the ice maker in the LG LRFXC2606S refrigerator can be turned off. To do this, locate the In-Door Ice button on the control panel. Press and hold this button for about three seconds to turn the ice maker off. If the lights indicating the ice maker are on, this action will turn them off, stopping ice production. • Yes. I turned off the freezer ice maker and use only the door ice maker as I don’t need that much ice. It only makes ice until full. I believe both ice makers can be turned off. There are controllers for ice on and off in the refrigerator. It will be nice to have both when entertaining.
