How do I turn off the ice maker in the freezer drawer? null

THERE IS A SEPARATE SWITCH LOCATED IN THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT, RIGHT ABOVE THE PLASTIC STORAGE ICE CONTAINER. YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO BEND DOWN TO SEE & LOCATE THIS SWITCH WHICH IS EITHER ON OR OFF. WE NORMALLY LEAVE OURS OFF, EXCEPT WHEN WE EXPECT COMPANY, THEN WE TURN IT ON 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO MAKE ADDITIONAL ICE. WHEN THE SWITCH IS OFF, WE EMPTY THE ICE STORAGE CONTAINER, BUT LEAVE IT IN PLACE & USE THE CONTAINER ITSELF FOR FOR EXTRA FREEZER STORAGE SPACE.

There is a switch on the front of the freezer ice maker. Slide open the drawer and get down low so you can see into the top of the freezer compartment. The switch is on the right of the icemeker that bulges down from the top of the freezer compartment. Marked I and o, o is ice maker off. Cheers

I know that using the control panel to shut off "cubed ice" will shut off the freezer compartment's ice maker, BUT it begs the following question: Doesn't that also shut off the cubed ice option from the fridge door's ice maker?

On some models they do not have a switch on the ice maker, it is controlled by the control panel inside the right refrigerator door. It says "Cubed Ice", touch the panel to the right of the light, the light will go off, your ice maker is now off.

I can't figure out how to turn the freezer ice maker off.......I looked up under the ice maker and saw "Test Switch, but, no "On" "Off" switch. But, it looks like the test switch can be moved! That would make sense.....ie., move it to the other side (no place says it off), then when you want it to make ice, pull the switch back forward, then press the test button and see if it drops ice.......!!! As I say, with simple finger nail push.....it won't move......Now, should I force the sliding to see if that works or should.......Push in the test button then try and move it.......Bummer, the deliver guys didn't show me anything and, the manual they left me wasn't for this model.......

It is done through the touch screen on the fridge door
