• Don't know the product-offering fully, but as far as this unit, you can turn off the door's icemaker and use only the lower unit ice maker if you want to.... and I guess if you didn't hook up the water line, there would be no problem at all, but some pretty expensive capacity goes unused.... but the overall design of this unit, otherwise, is excellent.

• Hello amr. The Model number for the LG - 28.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Steel ? Model # LFXS29766S is indicative of the features that are on that model. If you take away the Water and Ice Dispenser, the Model Number changes! So this particular Model does not come without the water and ice dispenser. There are similar units that do not have a water and ice dispenser but the model number is different...IFV

• This refridgerator is great the way it is. Don't be dumb, you can be the only family on your block with a fridge with two ice Makers! Also the kids can make icees by pouring koolaid into the ice maker and using the ice crusher.
