QuestionDo not have a water line in the house yet and tried to turn off the ice maker but it runs and makes a loud noise how do I turn the thing off so it does not run at all till we get the water line put in?

When full, the in-door ice bin holds approximately 6 to 8 (12-16 oz) glasses of ice...^IFV

QuestionWondering about the reliability of the compressor. On one web site I saw multiple complaints of it going out with less than satisfactory replacement . Anyone had any problems with it?

- Answer Yes. Waited 3 weeks to get compressor replaced, and it didn't work. Wouldn't come back for 6 days to check. Called geek squad and complained, and they were great [ I had the extended coverage]. They said come in and get a new one. Yes, I bought the same refrigerator because I liked it, and because Best Buy took care of us. Thinking I shouldn't be unlucky twice.
