Can this phone be used with tracfone? null

Gene, I tried doing exactly that. The phone has a the Tracfone logo on the back, and when you turn it on, the screen says Tracfone. I thought it would be easy to use with Tracfrone. I actually have another smartphone with Tracfone service, and wanted to transfer that number and that service to this LG Fiesta phone. Well, it turns out that it cannot be done. Even though Simple Mobile is somehow associated with Tracfone, it is a separate company, and it doesn't let you change service to Tracfone. I call their unlocking department, and they were very clear about that. To use with Tracfone, they need first to unlock the phone, and they will not do it unless you have been with Simple Mobile for a year.
